Evaluation-In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

My media product uses, develops and challenges forms and conventions of real media products. When creating our own opening sequence, we were influenced by the title sequence of the film 'Brick'. Within this opening sequence, there are individual shots shown of the dead character's body parts, we have also chose to do this in our opening sequence because it builds up suspense and makes the audience analyse what has happened, which allows them to come to their own conclusions about how the young girl died, another comparison between the two title sequences as both films begin with showing dead girls abandoned. I feel 'Brick' was a good film to be influenced by as it is succesful in building atmosphere and suspense in the opening sequence and makes the audience eager to carry on watching, which is what we would like our audience to feel.
