Brooke Morgan:
We have used typical stereotypes in our film through our two main characters. The character Brooke Morgan from our film 'Pulse' represents a typical teenage girl who is on a night out who could be described as rebelling against the rules. For example, in the opening sequence, Brooke is wearing nothing but a short dress, high-heeled shoes and a lot of make up. She also has blonde hair and blue eyes which is often used to describe a popular teenage girl in most films. We chose to use this stereotype in our film as it shows that Brooke is a more vunerable character and portrays the idea of real life in our film which makes it more realistic.

Jamal also represents the stereotype of a teenage boy through his clothes. For instance, when walking his dog through the park, Jamal is wearing trainers, tracksuit bottoms, a jumper and a hat. This portrays the sterotype of a teenage boy as it is an outfit that most boys wear and gives the audience an understanding of the type of character he is. We chose to use this stereotype because it fits in with the type of person Brooke would be friends with, as it's something that is
